Influenced by the master craftsmanship inherited from the Arabs, the artisans of Ubrique have been working with leather for centuries. In fact, the first workshops date back to the 17th century.
Ubrique, in the middle of a valley surrounded by imposing mountains and just a few kilometres from Cadiz, is one of the world’s leather craftsmanship hotspots.
There, the artisans begin to live leatherwork from their first breath, a craft that is passed down from generation to generation.
Only in this way are they able to master the techniques and get the most out of a very special product that must be worked properly in order to obtain the best results.
